    Jun 22, 2015 I started Plaquenil in Sept of last year when I was first diagnosed with limited Ssc and Sjogren's. I had a lot of GI problems, rosacea acne and other symptoms when I started. At about the 2 week point it was like a switch had been flipped My GI tract began to like me again and my face was visibly improved. I'm on Plaquenil for leukocytoclastic vasculitis among other autoimmune problems. Is this why Plaquenil is thought to be effective in treating this? I keep hearing about the vascular problems with the virus and autoimmune drug intervention, but I'm confused about the intent behind the medicine.
